Controlling the size of a feature in Inroads Survey

Controlling the size of a feature in Inroads Survey

(OP)
I'd like to know if there is a way to control a size that a feature gets imported into a dgn file through Inroads Survey.  In the field, we're locating varying sized rectangular features.  Instead of taking multiple shots, I'd like to take one shot in the center and then have the feature placed at its correct size.  We've measured the size prior to locating it and is recorded in a spreadsheet. I would also like to control the features orientation having it placed parallel to an alignment.

RE: Controlling the size of a feature in Inroads Survey

Yes you can.
1.) Make cells out your rectangle shapes in Microstation drawing them to actual size.
2.) Create styles and symbologies for the rectangles using default or plan point. Edit the plan point area for the symbology and change the option to cell. Browze for the specific cell that you created and the software should place the cells in the dgn file.
