Transfer Catia Files via FTP

(OP)
I need to send a CatProduct file via ftp to one of our customers. I believe I need to go to utilites. Will I need to zip this file?
Thanks

RE: Transfer Catia Files via FTP

1) Open CATProduct
2) FILE -> SEND TO
3) Create a new temp directory and move all the files you want to send.
4) Zip that directory and FTP that zip file.
5) Delete temp directory and zip files.

That's how I do it. Seems to work well.

RE: Transfer Catia Files via FTP

Just remember that you need to make sure all the Part files associated to your Product are sent as well. Your customer may also have to reconnect the Product Links in Desk once he receives the data and stores it where he wants it.
