PRO E DRAWINGS

PRO E DRAWINGS

PRO E DRAWINGS

(OP)
I have several models that I have detailed on "A" size format. I have a customer that wants several details on a "D" size sheets. I know that I can add models to the larger sheet and re-create the detail drawing. What I'm wondering is there away that I can take or transfer the all the views, dimensions and notes to the larger sheet from the "A" size.

HELP!!! This would save alot of time if possible.

Thank you,
Danoo

RE: PRO E DRAWINGS

Can't guarantee this will work but try Overlay from the Advanced menu (I'm looking at Pro/E 2001), apparently you can position views from another drawing.

RE: PRO E DRAWINGS

You don't have to recreate the views. If you want to keep the same drawing then change the sheet and rescale the views.

If you want a new drawing with all views and details from A size drawing, you can append several drawings to the new one. You can switch the view from one page to another.
