Parts List problems in NX5 (Quantities not being bundled)

Parts List problems in NX5 (Quantities not being bundled)

Greetings all, long time lurker here

Our company has just recently started using NX/TC from IDEAS/TDM and I have been tasked with setting everything up.  This has been quite a bumpy process but right now I am having problems with our partslist template.

Seems I have gotten everything to work EXCEPT it will not bundle multiples of the same item into one row, it creates a new row for each one with it's own row number.  I.E. if I have 25 #4-40 x .25 screws it creates 25 seperate rows with a QTY of 1 instead of listing the QTY as 25.

Anybody have any insight into helping me resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Parts List problems in NX5 (Quantities not being bundled)

pack the assembly, i.e. in assembly navigator select the assembly->MB3->pack all, and update parts list in the drafting.

Tried that, no dice.  I wish it was something simple though...hopefully it still is.
