Hydrogen from hydrogen sulfide?

Hydrogen from hydrogen sulfide?

Hydrogen from hydrogen sulfide?

(OP)
I would like to ask about process in which hydrogen and sulfur are produced by thermal decomposition of hydrogen sulfide using heat from Claus reaction furnace (Some time ago it was being developed by Gas Technology Institute and Alberta Sulphur Research, I don't know if they continue their work).

Does anyone know what the current status of this technology is? Does it passed successfully pilot plant scale testing? Are there any prospects for commercialization in the near future?
I would be really grateful if you cold give me any latest information in this subject.
