NATO hose connections

NATO hose connections

(OP)
Good day:

I have an inquiry to supply 2-1/2" hoses with a NATO 5 65mm water connection. We make 2-1/2" hose assemblies, just not this one.

Does anyone have experience in these and can point me to a spec? I've looked around and can't seem to find anything.

What I need is the thread spec, then I can modify one of our 2-1/2" couplings.

Thanks ever so much in advance.
Eyke

RE: NATO hose connections

As with all these things, the safest route is to ask the customer to clarify what spec they want to accept against.

In the meantime, you might want to take a look at STANAG 1084 Annex B for the coupling, and STANAG 1234 for the thread.

Both are available from IHS if you're a subscriber, or from your MoD/DoD/BWB, etc (provided you live within a NATO member country).

Thank you zeusfaber. I will look for those specs.

I did inquire and was sent this spec NATO Doc ATP 16(D)MTP 16(D).
