solid edege easy question newbie help
(OP)
hi just an easy question on solid edge drafting im newish to this ive drawn a simple drawing an was wondering how i make the drawing bigger with out changeing the dimensions so it can be seen without scaleing

RE: solid edege easy question newbie help
If in 2D did you use the model sheet or straight on the draft?
If yes to either, and assuming you drew at 1:1 why would you not want to scale? In fact if I understand what you are saying then fundamentally you want to scale it, say make it 2:1 instead of 1:1.
Select the view, up in the ribbon bar should be a scale setting. From the pull down select your preffered scale (you can create your own unique scale if need be).

So, you probably want to put it onto the model sheet, you should be able to cut & paste it.
You will then be able to create a view which you can then scale.
Hit the "2D Model View" button (between parts list and smart dimension) it will give you the option to switch to 2D model sheet. Paste your drawing here at 1:1.
Go back to sheet 1 and creat your view using the same button.
Use the help, 2-D should get you a bunch of info.

in addition what KENAT already has written:
there should also be a tutorial 'Creating 2D Drawings with Solid Edge'
which oulines how to do a draft *without* a 3D-Model.
The most important point is: teh scale of the ModelSheet must be left
at 1:1 otherwise you will be in trouble later on when cerating a
(scaled) view
