More on the NX5 visual editor problem

More on the NX5 visual editor problem

More on the NX5 visual editor problem

(OP)
I have attached a figure showing how the visual editor looks in my NX5 file.

Prior to NX5 the grey area under the image is where the expressions were, and they could be edited. Now they are below and cannot be edited.

If anybody else has seen this then please let me know.

RE: More on the NX5 visual editor problem

I don't know much about the visual editor, so it may not be of much help but I'd like to ask what happens if you try to add the expressions back in?

Best regards

Hudson

Well this is what the Visual Editor looks like in my copy of NX 5.0.3.2 (this was from that NX 3 part that I've just opened in NX 5 for the first time):

surprise Is NX 5.0.3 update ready yet?

Thanks for all the help. I am going to browse through the user settings to see if anything needs to be toggled in there.
I will figure something out.

RE: More on the NX5 visual editor problem

I'm not aware of any setting(s) that would have an impact of the Visual Editor.  I suspect that there may be problems with the part file itself.  Have you contacted GTAC yet?  If you could provide them the file, perhaps someone in development could take a closer look at what you have there.

No, I have not contacted GTAC yet, but I will do that.
Just one of those goofy things, I guess.

Thanks
