NX5 visual editor not working

NX5 visual editor not working

NX5 visual editor not working

(OP)
We recently upgraded from NX3 to NX5.

The visual editor now does not work. I get the picture fine, but the expressions are not acccessible from the frame.

These are complex parts with a few pages of visual editor stuff for the designer to go through to manipulate the part ... so the visual editor is the best way to do this task.

Does anybody have any idea what is wrong?

RE: NX5 visual editor not working

Well, I've only got two older models which includes a Visual Editor.  Now the more complex example uses the Visual Editor to drive a so-called configuration model from which WAVE links were taken that drove the size of several dozen fabricated-parts for the frame of a machine, which I then built the assembly of.  This was originally modeled in UG V14.0 and has been ugraded over the years to V15.0 then to V17.0, NX 3.0.4.2, NX 5.0.1.2 and finally to NX 5.0.3.2 and it still works fine.

My second model is much simpler, just a forging model that I use a 2-paged Visual Editer to define the overall size.  Now this one was last saved in NX 3.0.1.1 and I opened it directly into NX 5.0.3.2 and it works fine as well.

I don't really know what to say.
