assembly cutout

assembly cutout

(OP)
Hi,

I want to make an angled cutout in an assembly.(two parts)

I have two cylindrical tubes concentric in an assembly that I want to cutout in an angle.
Is there a way to make the cutout as you would do normally if these parts were one piece?
Because of the angle it is hard to do it in the edit part mode, and get the cutout lined out.

RE: assembly cutout

Within the assy, create a sketch on a plane or surface and make the cut.
