We want to lay an underground pipeline from a nat. gas metering station to a turbine on site.
What material and possible coating should be applied?
Location Western Europe.
Des.press. 35 Barg
Des.temp. -20/+60 deg.C
Pipedia DN150
Pipeline length 120 mtr.

I've used API 5L pipe, just specifying additional Charpy V-notch toughess requirements, for similar temperatures in  Minnesota, North Dakota and Turkey.

Hey ...come to think about it, no extra notch toughness requirements.  I forgot that -20ºC is only -4ºF.

API 5L Gr.B PSL1 is sufficient.

According to ASME B31.3, the minimum temperature without impact testing is as per curve B of Fig.323.2.2A in ASME B31.3.Therfore impact testing is not needed until -30 deg.C if the wall thickness is below 10 mm.

I think that Sch.40 is sufficient for the wall thickness of that pipe even though corrosion allowance 3mm is considered.
