Title Block Text

(OP)
Greetings to all.
I was introduced to SW99 and used it for 6 mo or so and changed companies.  I am now back on SW2001+ (yeah).  I am finding that title block text configuration has not developed much.  On of my biggest gripes in 99 was that the t-block text (even if a block was made) was very clunky to edit.  I am not trying to compare SW to Acad, but, it would be much more efficient to have t-block info that could be placed in a sequence and edited WITHOUT double-clicking on the text field.

My question is:  Is there any way to make a block (or something else) that would allow the user to be prompted for the t-block info, and is there a way to insert this black magic with the use of cooridinates.

Thanks for your help.

RE: Title Block Text

Jay,

what you are looking for is a title block linked to custom properties and an application that gives easy accesss to define and edit these properties. Such applications are available free on the web. If you can't find one I can send you the one I wrote for my company, together with a sample template. Better check first
