Max number of filename characters

Max number of filename characters

Max number of filename characters

(OP)
I've searched thru the online help but have not found the specifics.  Anyone know the maximum number of characters allowed in a CATIA filename.  I've made a part with over 40 characters and it seems to allow it.  I thought the number was 32 max.

Thanks...

RE: Max number of filename characters

Try more then 211 and see what happens...I suggest you to use Notepad to see the number of the characters in a row (then copy - paste in the name of the file....)

Fernando
