Carbon steel (Basalt lined) pipe bends conveying sand

Carbon steel (Basalt lined) pipe bends conveying sand

Carbon steel (Basalt lined) pipe bends conveying sand

(OP)
Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier (Pref UK) of carbon steel bends (Basalt lined) for conveying sand.
Would anyone know what dimension the radius of the bends would be? (i.e. radius = 5D or 10D)

Thanks in advance
Paul

RE: Carbon steel (Basalt lined) pipe bends conveying sand

In mining game we are now starting to use PE liner in mild steel rather than basalt lining. The PE provides chemical resistance as well as abrasion resistance. There is a group in Perth (PIHA) that seem to have solved the diferential thermal expansion problems.
The bends will generally be 5D.
Cheers
