Error while trying to restart the analysis

Error while trying to restart the analysis

Error while trying to restart the analysis

(OP)
When i try to restart my analysis, i get this error message and i don;t understand why.
***ERROR: Features such as new nodes/elements, IMPORT, SYMMETRIC MODEL
GENERATION, MAP SOLUTION are detected in a continuation analysis
where the original model is defined in terms of an assembly of part
           instances. This is not allowed.

Note that i didn't change anything from the original input file. Just modified something in a subsequant step and i don't believe that is the reson.

RE: Error while trying to restart the analysis

even if i was changing in the next step?

RE: Error while trying to restart the analysis

If you want to use *model change in restart, it has to be used in the step before the restart step too in the inital analysis.

Try add this in the first step and re-run the inital FEA.

*model change, Activate

Hope that should slove your problem
