Self-Tapping Screw Tip for White Metal

Self-Tapping Screw Tip for White Metal

Self-Tapping Screw Tip for White Metal

(OP)
Greetings,
I've got a couple of old, relatively small castings of a material that I can't identify other than to categorize them as white metal--almost certainly a zinc alloy.
I'm planning to utilize self-tapping screws as I modify the castings for reassembly.  My question is:
What is the ideal self-tapping screw tip configuration for this type of material?  I've considered a Type BT (25), Type BF and a Type T (23), but would value inputs.

Thanks in advance.

I would second Cory.  Taptite or Delta PT.  it should be a simple application if you have enough length of engagement.
