(OP)
Hello !

I'm facing an issue. I want to disperse photoactive nano-particle in a polymer matrix, but this latter is degradated by UV ? Does someone can help me finding a solution ?

Regards,

Hook

RE: photoactive polymer material

I probably can help if you provide reasonable details about your question.

Please don't double post. It wastes time and dilutes input.

It looks better if you red flag one of the posts yourself and save me the effort of doing it for you.

RE: photoactive polymer material

Translates to (at a guess): "I am putting TiO2 into a polymer and want to stop it attacking the polymer."

There are well known solutions to that. Most TiO2 is coated in silicate to stop it attacking polymers. Another approach is to use the special doped TiO2 from Oxonica (Tradename Optisol or Solacor). The dopant stops it attacking polymer and also improves its UV adsorbing abilities.

There is not any memory with less satisfaction than the memory of some temptation we resisted.
