in my previous question, i stated that my electric motor turns 3775 rpms. that is wrong. it turns 1775. sorry bout that.

RE: need to correct a typo on previous question

From your details:
Input speed 1775 rpm
ratio 37.5:1
Output speed of reducer 1775/37.5=47.333 rpm.

I assume that you have an 8" pulley on speed reducer driving a 12" pulley on conveyor drive pulley(spool)
Speed of Conveyor drive pulley(spool)=(47.333 X 8)/12=31.55 rpm

Check the forum list as this was not the best forum to raise this issue(see materials handling equipment engineering!!)

You can't edit a message directly, but you can Red Flag it, and in the dialog box that results, describe _specifically_ how you would like it changed, and chances are it will be changed, as if by magic.
