Permanent identification

I have a molded part done in several elastomers that needs to be field traceable years from now. What permanent identification methods are out there I am not aware of? It needs to vary easily based on mold usage as well. Thanks.

Do they need a reader to get the information? I was thinking more of inserts in the mold that turn easily but last. That way anybody could see them. Would help on resale.

RE: Permanent identification

I'm not familiar with the details of use of the microtags. You can contact the company for more info.

I looked it up and that looks a little extravagent considering our customer base. I was thinking more obvious information like from a rotating insert. I'll check that out. Thanks for the input. Anybody else?
