Can a drawing be made Ready-Only?

Can a drawing be made Ready-Only?

Can a drawing be made Ready-Only?

Is there a way to make a drawing read-only? I'm finding that once in a while someone updates an outdated drawings by mistake and I would like to make sure this cannot happen anymore.

RE: Can a drawing be made Ready-Only?

If you are looking to prevent accidental changes, you can use your operating system to change the file attribute to read-only.  Otherwise, the only way I know of is to secure it using a permissions-based security system and purchase software that controls who gets to make changes and archives the changes so you can go back to previous versions.

Thanks for the comments, I think setting the drawing to read-only will be fine. I forgot where that read-only check box was. thanks again
