Is it possible to open an edrawings file in Solid works so it can be converter to stl or another format?

Cheers...

RE: edrawings

Depending on how the eDrawing file was saved, you may be able to save to STL format from eDrawings.  Otherwise, I don't see a way to open eDrawings files with SolidWorks.

RE: edrawings

We have a problem with eDrawings 2008.

When you save a marked up eDrawing as a jpeg the markup isn't saved with it and doesn't appear on the jpeg.

Why is this?  2007 Did it.

RE: edrawings

Theo is correct,

you cannot open an derawing in solidworks, you can however save an stl out of an edrawing IF the publisher of the edrawing set the option to allow someone to save out as STL.
