SIL-rated FGS Vs. Typical FGS
SIL-rated FGS Vs. Typical FGS
(OP)
Hello all!!!
I work as an I&C Junior Engineer and my Lead asked me to compare SIL-rated Fire panels to Standard Fire Panels.
I did a bit of research, and would like more experienced people in the field to comment on my results.
Please find attached here the file.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know why these figures don't come up,
but you can forget about them.
The most important to me is to have more infos
regarding differences between a typical
Fire Panel and a SIL-rated fire Panel.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks.

the fault-tolerant and diagnostic features that are inherent to a SIL system.
These features reduce dramatically the PFD (Probability of Failure on Demand) of the system. SIL is the reciprocal to PFD. Thus, as your PFD goes down, your SIL increases.
Hope that helps you help me!!!!
