How to select volumes using VSEL

How to select volumes using VSEL

How to select volumes using VSEL

(OP)
Does anyone know a way of selecting a volume whereby an exact location within the volume can be specified.

When I use VSEL within a cylindrical coordinate system I can either specify the value of the x coordinate or the value of the angle coordinate (i.e. theta or the equivalent of y in a cartesian system).

When there is a separate volume at a further x distance than the volume I want VSEL fails. Also I can never get VSEL to work when I use angles to specify the location.

Is there any way to combine the two? i.e. can I select by specifying both an x and angle (or y) coordinate?

Thanks

Thanks a million eelco71. So simple when you know how.

I will have a nice weekend now with that off my mind.
