Flange stud bolt marking

Flange stud bolt marking

(OP)
Flange stud bolts have one ending marked with B8 or B7. Is it common to ask vendor to apply marking to differentiate material like A320 or A197?

If so, use color coding or stencile ASTM number on it?

Thanks.

RE: Flange stud bolt marking

SA-320 also has a B8 marking without the underline. Reading the spec. for SA 320, Class 1 bolts are marked as B8 while Class 2 bolts as marked as B8. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank for not only the information but guiding me to read the spec. I know where to find similar information now.
