Oilfield chemicals usage-queries

Oilfield chemicals usage-queries

(OP)
Dear fellow engineers, I have few queries on the usage of chemicals for day to day production.
1)Anti freeze chemical- like methanol/MEG ( glycol): This chemicals are injected along with gas in the well casings as well as on the trunk line to inhibit freezing. Does the excessive usage of  antifreeze chemicals cause scaling problems in well tubing subsurface?? Have any of you encountered this problem do we have any papers/evidence which highlights the relationship.
2)Kinetic hydrate inhibitor- Has any of you have experience in the usage of the same. I am confused to know there are two types-hi polymer & low polymer. It seems the high polymer can create problems of choking in long term usage. What is the economics vis a vis cost??
3)Is scale inhibitor effective in high CO2 (carbon dioxide) gas wells??
4)Is corrosion inhibitor dosage effective in departing gas lines??
