VAPOUR QUALITY MEASUREMENT DEVICE

VAPOUR QUALITY MEASUREMENT DEVICE

VAPOUR QUALITY MEASUREMENT DEVICE

(OP)
Hi everybody;

Please, could anybody tell me a device to measure the quality of the vapour?

Reading literature, I found a device that throttles a portion of mass flow. The philosophy consists in the measure of the throttled mass flow (isoentalphic throttling)in order to know the quality of the vapour. It seems very easy but I don´t know where I can buy that device or how can I build it. Please, do you know information about that device? (how is the construction, possible manufacturers, etc.).

The device is composed by a pipe which is introduced in the pipe where the quality of the vapour is required. Then the mass flow is throttled and the pressure, temperature are measured.

Thank you very much!!!

Thank you very much

When used for steam, that device is called as a Throttling Calorimeter. Google on that.

Thank you very much for the information.

I have been checking your links, and they are so helpful for me. I´m trying to find throttling calorimeters manufacturers, but I don´t find so much. Please, could you tell me some manufacturers??? I would be so pleasant.

thank you very much again;
