Hi,

Since I am a mcechanical engineer and I have to assist a mn-phosphating line for carbon steel couplings.
It is operating temperature is about 97 degree C.

However, it is need to improve the photphating layer thinkness.

Would like provide the appropriate material to study about this process

Contact Heatbath.  They are the leader in manganese phosphate in the industry. Or contact your supplier. Have you checked:

Total Acid
Iron Content

Thanks for your reply.

The plant is operating with Henkel supplies. They are going to visit us the next week, after some claims.

The values are.

Free Acid 1.6
Total Acid 11.5
Iron Content 0.33
