PART NOT REV MANAGED

PART NOT REV MANAGED

PART NOT REV MANAGED

(OP)
Good morning all,
I have two part files which I inherited. They started out as toolbox hardware. Required alterations were maded and the parts were saved as issued part numbers. When I try to check into PDM, these parts still reference toolbox items, i.e. they show as not rev managed and are unable to be checked in. I dont see any xrefs to the original in the part files. Any ideas?

you have to change the flag on the files "ISfastener" is set to the file. You have to use the TB util to change it.

Default location: C:\Program Files\SolidWorks\Toolbox\data utilities\sldsetdocprop.exe

Add the file and select "No" - to make sure it was remove select "Show selected Property"

That's it!
