how many openings are there in a horizontal storage tank for storing heavy fuel oil.
 could you please also advice me some sites where i could view drawing of horizontal tanks.

If looking for some specific info please give some detail to your question.
There is not a "correct" number of nozzles for a horizontal tank it will depend on the process.  The "correct" answer is number nozzles=in+out+instrument+spare or in other words exactly as many as you need.

For drawing just do GIS and you should find thousands.

As stated above, you can have as many or as few nozzles in Horizontal ( or any other type of)tanks
