Hyper-Linking a Block

Hyper-Linking a Block

Hyper-Linking a Block

Is there a way that I can click on a block in a 2D SWX drawing and have it open a PDF?

I was able to select the block - EDIT - INSERT HYPERLINK then path to the PDF file, but the only down side is that the path is displayed on the drawing. If I edit the text, I lose the path and link.

The attached JPG shows the block in pink and the text path.

SWX 2008 SP0

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Todd

RE: Hyper-Linking a Block

I don't believe this is going to work like what you see in a Powerpoint presentation.

Not saying it can't be done with API, but I don't know of a way to make this work with what SW has to offer you right out of the package.

Scott,

I can add a text hyperlink but just cannot get the block to link.

I smell an enhancement request.

Have a good New Year!
