Mechanical (stamping) Press Standards
Mechanical (stamping) Press Standards
(OP)
I was wondering if there is a national, or international standard for press manufacturers tolerance specification. An example would be deflection testing for the ram and bed or flatness. At 196 inches in length you would be allowed so many thou per foot. Like DIN standard I am wondering if one exist for presses. Is there a governing body that overlooks this such as ANSI or JISC etc. If so who and where could I acquire that information.
