HEC 2 (version 4.6) error message

HEC 2 (version 4.6) error message

HEC 2 (version 4.6) error message

(OP)
Below I have retyped the error message that I am receiving.

174.95 - ERROR - GR RECORD - STA = 227.00 228.00 BT LOW CORD DOES NOT INTERSECT GR PROFILE AT DEFINED GR POINT

174.95 - ERROR - GR RECORD - STA = 227.00 228.00 TOP OF ROAD DOES NOT INTERSECT GR PROFILE AT DEFINED GR POINT

THE FEMA LIBRARY DID NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL HEC2 DATA ELECTRONICALLY SO I AM STUCK INPUTTING THE DATA MYSELF.

THE ORIGINAL ANALYSIS WAS DONE IN 1977. I WAS WONDERING IF THE 2 HEC2 (OLDER VERSION AND MOST RECENT VERSION) VERSIONS WOULD OUTPUT THE SAME RESULT?

ALSO, CAN I JUST INPUT THIS DATA IN HEC RAS INSTEAD OF RECREATING IT IN HEC 2?

THANKS,

CHRIS

RE: HEC 2 (version 4.6) error message

.

I am pretty sure you should be able to import this directly into HEC-RAS. Have you tried?

I am going to try to import the HEC2 data in HEC RAS eventhough there are error messages. I am new to the HEC software. I was reading the reference manual and it looks like I will be making some adjustments to the data anyway.
