Dimensioning Help Required

Dimensioning Help Required

(OP)
Bonjour Everybody:

I have just installed Pro E Wildfire 3.0 and I'm finding it tricky to familiarise myself with the dimensioning tools; can anyone tell me how to set ProE up to automatically insert centre marks on holes and other round features.
also, is there a tutorial or similar that I could read to help me on my way.
Thanks in advance :)

My boss says 'there are no problems, only opportunites to prove yourself'.
I remain sceptical.

RE: Dimensioning Help Required

I don't know about doing it automatically, but if I want centremarks on holes/rounds, I generally ensure there are datum axes on the model in all the places I want to see centremarks and then in the drawing use the "Show/Hide" function to 'show' these axes in whichever view is necessary.

show_axes_for_extr_arcs
yes, *no

Determines if axes are created for newly extruded arcs.

config pro option, but it can get a bit out of control if you have a large number of arcs, not sure if WF3 still supports this

RE: Dimensioning Help Required

But in the drawing environment, to make them part of the drawing you would still need to "Show" them.

Thanks gents,

I'll give it a spin over the holiday and let you know.

Enjoy your break if you get one.

I remain respecfully sceptical.
