High speed pm motor

Dear All

I plan to design and construct an experimental setup with ball bearings which are capable of running to very high speeds as 150 000 -200 000 rpm with a rotor radius of 3-7.5 mm. I need the details of the electric motors that can be used for these range.
I would be thankful to you if you can provide a link for such kind of electric motors and/or producers.
I observed from some papers that PM synchronous electric motors can be used. (brushless).

Thank you very much in advance.Regards.

RE: High speed pm motor

Does it have to be an electric motor?
You might also consider small air turbines such as the "high speed drill" at the dentist, that runs in this rpm range.

Best Regards,

Benta.

Thanks sreid and Benta.

Benta do you now such kind of commercial air turbines?
I would be grateful if you can provide a link about such air turbines or high speed drill.

RE: High speed pm motor

I've also used Precise, although not up to 200k. They are one of the best in this field of high speed spindles.
