Material selection for sulfuric acid

Material selection for sulfuric acid

Material selection for sulfuric acid

(OP)
Hi,

I have to design some dipping tanks to hold 96% sulfuric acid at 194 degrees F. Any ideas on materials, bearing in mind that cost is an issue too?

Thanks,

Alan B

Hi, I know that my answer is may be too late but it might be helpful for others.

Try (ZeCore) material it is cheaper than Sandvik SX and has very good corrosion resistance to Acid at this Temp.
