Setting colours of deault items

Setting colours of deault items

Setting colours of deault items

(OP)
Pro/E 2001

In drawings:

Is it possible to set the colour of a bom balloon to be different to ordinary text and lines without have to modify each balloon as they are created?

Is it possible to set a standard colour for hatching?

Is it possible to set a standard colour for section identifiers?

I'm lloking to have different colours so that when I export to autocad I can place every type of item on its own layer based on the colour of the entity.

RE: Setting colours of deault items

Fawkes,
We use mapkeys to set the cross hatch colour, spacing etc.
You could do the same for dimensions or, any draft entity you wish.
It takes a few minutes to set up the mapkey, but after that, changing the format of multiple items is very fast.

Cheers,

JW
