Can we delete the material parameter in the tree?

Can we delete the material parameter in the tree?

Can we delete the material parameter in the tree?

(OP)
We've found that once material is added to a catpart, a material parameter appears in the parameters node of the tree. If and when we remove material from the catpart, the material parameter remains with a value of 'none'. We can't delete that parameter. Obviously, it's not a big deal; but, we would like to know if there is a way to remove/delete the empty parameter.

RE: Can we delete the material parameter in the tree?

Not sure if you can or not, but you certainly may if you desire.

f(x) will permit you to hide the parameter where it will not be visible in the specification tree.

With a few more clicks, the actual parameter can be made to dissappear before your very eyes.

Use Insert in New to move your features as needed.
Delete the Assembly when done.
Promote the Body.
Delete the Material Parameter'd Body.
