Equations issue in SWX 2008 SP1.0

Equations issue in SWX 2008 SP1.0

(OP)
Good day, just installed SWX 2008 SP1.0 and can't get even a simple equation in a part to work. We always get "syntax is incorrect".

Is there an issue with SP1.0 (i.e. do you get the same problem)? Or is this more of an installation problem (i.e. it is only us)?

Thanks, Jeff

This appears to be an installation issue. And our reseller sent us instructions on how to fix this problem. We are not sure what caused it, but will send more info later on as we find out.

Thanks LMonaco,

Apparently we had the swvba.tlb file in 2 locations, in the SWX shared folder and Windows system folder. Removing it from the Windows system folder solved the problem. No need to reinstall SWX.

We are not sure what caused this in the first place, and are awaiting for an answer from our var.

Thank you,

Joseph
