"cancel" button crash in COSMOS '08

"cancel" button crash in COSMOS '08

(OP)
When ever I hit the "X" cancel button in the Feature Manager inside of COSMOS Works 2008 SP0.0 SolidWorks crashes with no exception.

For example, if I were adding a restraint & didn’t like what I had selected, it I hit the check mark, & go back to delete it, everything is fine.  If I hit the ESC key or hit the red "X", it spells impending death for SolidWorks.

I have tried reboots & reinstalls of COSMOS with no luck
