Off size ASTM 194 nut

Off size ASTM 194 nut

(OP)
I am looking for 7/8" ASTM A194 8M class I nuts to replace substandard carbon steel ones that came with a test rig.  I've tried several suppliers but they do not stock that size.  Is there an ANSI standard that is equivalent to A194?  I've found some ANSI/ASME rated SS hardware that looks similar to A194.  Since I deal with standards issues only infrequently, I am not well versed in them and if this is a stupid question, please be nice.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

RE: Off size ASTM 194 nut

ASME incorporates ASTM specifications for pressure piping and vessel material specifications.  ASTM A 194 would likely be ASME SA 194 unless I too am behind in the standards.  The ANSI prefix suggests that it is a recognized standards.  ANSI is becoming moot.
