Units by default when starting sap 2000

(OP)
How can one change the default units when starting Sap 2000? In earlier versions, the set of the default units was determined in the file sap2000.ini, but since the 8th version, (if I’m not wrong), it is no longer the case.

RE: Units by default when starting sap 2000

In version 11 (I can't remember if V10 worked this way), you can set database table units using Option menu>Database>Set Program default DB formatting, and be sure to uncheck the "Always use current units" default option to change units for each parameter to whatever you want. If you want SAP to default to these units each time you start a new job, you can always start your model initializing it from an existing SAP .sdb file.

RE: Units by default when starting sap 2000

you can also specify units when imputting member, material properties, and load cases.

RE: Units by default when starting sap 2000

Is V11's units less retarded than V10's?
