Disappearing Entities

Disappearing Entities

(OP)
I'm trying to do a sketch that contains entities of various sizes, along with some conics. Problem is once in a while the whole model just becomes unstable - in that some entities disappear. Most of the time its the conics, or the smallest rads. They are still there but the sketch isn't being rendered fully. Any ideas?

RE: Disappearing Entities

msiphil,

   Complex sketches bugger up unpredictably.

Can you break your sketch down into a series of smaller, simpler sketches?

I'm running a FireGL I believe. A lot of the sketches I work with are very complex and constraint-heavy, and I can't really break them down I need to work with the full part. Looks like theres no easy fix for this? I tried increasing all of the graphics and rendering options to the max.

I'm using an ATI FireGL V3300, I installed the approved drivers, and activated the solidworks profile. Didn't help at all. Its frustrating because I can see them when I first open the file, but after it starts loading things further they disappear.
