LEED USGBC exam

(OP)
Hello,

I would kindly ask you for an information regarding USGBC LEED Exam regarding the cost and genearal advices please.

1) From the www.usgbc.org I understand that total cost for exam ($350), a study  book ($200). My concern is that I am not sure what study books should I purchase If I want to take LEED for New Construction Exam Track exam. http://www.usgbc.org/Store/PublicationsList.aspx?CMSPageID=1518

2) Has anyone attended a full day Technical Review workshop? Is considered usefull taking ionto account the cost of $445.

3) My background is in HVAC design + active solar systems
Based on the eperience of colleagues with similar background to mine and for those who have already took LEED exam, what exam track would be the most benefitial for my further professional career

a)New Construction
b)Existing Buildings
c) Commercial Interiors

Thanks muchly
Sasa
