MAP MOUSE WHEEL TO ROTATE ?

MAP MOUSE WHEEL TO ROTATE ?

MAP MOUSE WHEEL TO ROTATE ?

(OP)
Is it possible to map the mouse wheel click to rotate a model - like you would do in solidworks or ProE ?

i find irt really frustrating to have to press a button before i can rotate.

RE: MAP MOUSE WHEEL TO ROTATE ?

I went through this earlier in the year. Yes it is frustrating but stick with it. Inventor is not quite as bad as it first seems. Nearly yes but ...
There was an earlier thread on this issue. I cannot find it now but short of writing a macro there is no way to get it to spin the same as SW.
The other way is to get a space mouse which start at about £80.00 for a commercial model

RE: MAP MOUSE WHEEL TO ROTATE ?

My company went with Inventor (unfortunetly) and if I did not have a 3D controller I would have gone insane.

RE: MAP MOUSE WHEEL TO ROTATE ?

Don't worry.
There is still time!
Just keep repeating
Every day In every way Inventor is getting better and better

One day it might be true

RE: MAP MOUSE WHEEL TO ROTATE ?

I recently created a drawing template for my company. I  included different font sizes in the title block as most people probably do. As soon as i start using the template file as template, all these fonts appear in equal size.  Why does this happen ?
