spare parts for GEreg model GR voltage regulator

spare parts for GEreg model GR voltage regulator

(OP)
Hi all
Does anyone know where spare parts could be found for repairing or replacing a GE model 3S7950GR400 static voltage regulator? The unit we have has a failed main control card. We think the SCR bridge is still OK, but would replace the entire unit if a spare could be found.

Any information regarding sources for old GE AVRs or replacement parts would be helpful. The AVR is on an old synchronous generator (vintage 1920's) with a large DC rotary exciter.
Thanks for any leads anyone can give.

GE manuafactures all exiters in Salem VA.  Please try your luck.

Vintage system from 1920??  You need more luck than information!!

RE: spare parts for GEreg model GR voltage regulator

I believe this is the guy I cross paths with years ago.  If so He is very knowledgable and should be able to locate parts or be able to make the repairs

If he's not the one, he still might be able to help
