Cut List in Drawing

Cut List in Drawing

Cut List in Drawing

(OP)
I am having a problem with a cut list in a Solidworks Drawing. I have gotten it to display in units to the 0.1”, but I need it to display in fractional form. When I open my weldment 3D part, I have it listed under cut list properties to the 1/16”. However, the lengths are then displayed in my cut list Table (Drawing) in decimal form. Does anyone know of any way to change the table properties to display in fractions, or is it even possible?
Thanks,

RE: Cut List in Drawing

It doesn't appear to be possible in '07 or '08. Rather limiting, IMO. An enhancement request perhaps?

RE: Cut List in Drawing

Modify your standard cut-list profiles (i.e. square tube etc.)where dimensions are in fractions.
Once you start using those templates your cut list will automatically show sizes in fractions...
To fix existing weldment, modify each structural members size to be displayed in fractions. (RMB on stock dimentions - properties - units. Set inches, fractions etc. - Done)
Works for me.
