You could check their website for any information. I've not seen any 3rd party courses offered on how to use Hysys (the vendor will typically provide these, at a cost).

Free downloads are not always the best - and not HYSIS. HYSIS is one of the expensive simulation software in market now!

Also, you can contact Hyprotech (now AspenTech) to ask if they have a training course available in your area. If you are very serious about learning the software, they use to lease on a monthly basis (but this is VERY expensive).
One thing about the basic training course. The one I attended ran through pretty much every feature of the program. While the basic course will teach you "keyboarding", it will not teach you how to be good at developing simulations.

I hope you saw my post answering this in the other thread...
I would say that Hysys is not the proper tool to model a Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit. Even Hyprotech partners with other companies (i.e., KBC) for this technology.
