Nobody seems to know. On the Ryan ST was the wheel fairing rigidly attached to the oleo strut, or was it pivoted around the axis of the treadle?
I am developing a working model and trying to make this detail correctly. I believe it has never been accomplished before.

EAA tends to be very helpful, especially to members. Not sure if it is on display - don't remember seeing it on my last visit to the museum itself (October). I do engineering tasks on the flying collection for the EAA maintenance facility, and - no guarantees - I could possibly get photos and sketches on my next visit (none scheduled).

Der8110: The tip to consult EAA is good. I have consulted them before with good results. Should have thought of this without bothering you.
Thanks to both!
