CP's for PDM & SW

CP's for PDM & SW

(OP)
Hi,
I'm trying to setup the PDMWorks vault Custom Properties (CP) and noticed that when I add the CP's, it adds them in alphabetical order which I don't want. I can't find a workaround to add them the way I want it displayed. Is there a way to do this?

This is what I want:
Description
DrawnBy
DrawnDate
CheckedBy
CheckedDate
ProjEngApproval
ProjEngDate
EngDivApproval
EngDivDate
MfgApproval
MfgDate
QaApproval
QaDate
Material
Finish
Used On
Next Assy
Pl/Rev
Revision
DesignedBy
DesignedDate
Weight
Supplier/Vendor
Supplier/Vendor P/N
Product Line
Project Number
Model Number
Status
Owner

The main reason why I want it to display is for drawing sign-off's.

DrawnBy
DrawnDate
CheckedBy
CheckedDate
ProjEngApproval
ProjEngDate
EngDivApproval
EngDivDate
MfgApproval
MfgDate
QaApproval
QaDate

It's in order the way that the drawing is sign-off and would like it to display it in the PDM vault that way too.

Thanks,

RE: CP's for PDM & SW

My fear, Colin, is that you are seriously SOL

RE: CP's for PDM & SW

A complete hack of a workaround would be to add prefixes to your custom property names that put them in your desired order.  Not a good solution, IMO, but you may not be completely SOL.

Ok, thanks guys. Looks like I'm SOL. Let's kill this thread.

I'll be back with more PDM items.

Best.
