Allowable bend radii for .5" thick sheet metal

(OP)
I am trying to fabricate a 90deg bend on a .5" thick sheet metal (Gage 3/0). What are the allowable bent radii (inside) for the piece?

Is there a table?

Thanks,
-Paul

your bend rad would depend on what the material is.
I am presuming it is Aluminum.
Here are a selection of Rads taken from the Alcoa hand book
These are for .5" thick material.
2024-0 3t-5t
2024t3 6t-9t
6061t6 4t-6t
7075-0 3t-5t
7075t6 7t-12t

These are inside bends T is the thickness of the material.
